The Indian Army’s artillery procurement process has run into rough weather again as BAE Systems has decided not to participate in the tender for purchase of 400 towed artillery guns for the Indian Army. While this decision has hampered the artillery procurement of the Indian Army, the global giant BAE Systems’ decision to pull out of the Indian defence Ministry's tender may prove detrimental for BAE Systems in the long run as well.
